The hillsides of the hills are covered with vineyards and fragrant olive groves, crossed by <strong>narrow streets ideal for hiking and walking.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The Wine Route<\/strong> of the Etruscan Coast, taking advantage of these streets, realized a wine and food trail surrounded by nature.<\/p>\n<p>It is about 150 km long and includes all the Livorno coast, part of the Pisan countryside and also the territory of the Elba Island. In this area viticulture is a traditional activity, closely linked to the history and economy of local villages. <strong>Bolgheri, Montescudaio, Bibbona<\/strong> are just some of the towns most involved in the production of fine bottles. From here comes<strong> Sassicaia, Terratico, Ornellaia<\/strong> and many other red wines protected by the DOC and DOCG brands.<\/p>\n<p>The Etruscan Coast\u2019s Wine Route is an ideal path for slow tourism, on foot or by bicycle. Traveling slowly allows you to really appreciate the nature and beauty of these places. It is possible to stop in the cellars, farms and wine shops met along the way.
